Closing Outlook

I had a problem with Office 2003 so I ended up
reinstalling it. Now, when I (try) to close Outlook, it
just minimizes and stays in my task area waiting for me
to open it up again. How do I get this to close out the
first time like it used to?

In the Task bar or in the System notification area? What are you clicking
