Closing Word or Outlook and Changes to Global Template

Everytime I close Word 2003 or outlook 2003, i get a
message saying Cannot save changes to global template
since it is read-only format. Do you want to save changes
udner a different name.

I have done a complete system scan using the most current
McAfee with macro scanning enabled. There are no viruses
found.

Other than a macro virus, what else could this be?? How
do I get it to stop? What changes are being made that i
am not aware of and how?
