Code doesn't show

Ran into some problems that required I reload Access 2000. Had
several procedures throughout dbase that no longer show up.
Expression builder-code builder is inoperative, the code button on
toolbar is inop. When I use alt F11 there is no data in the explorer
window. Clicking on event procdures within proporty doens't work.
All code seems to have disappeared and I can not reenter. Backup is
several days old

These applications work in other dbases on same computer so I don;t
think it was a bad reload. Any idea what might of happended and more
importantly how to fix?

The proceures were all pretty basic and could be recreated if I could
get the code window to come up- by the way I am a newbie to coding in
case you could not tell by the question

Assuming that it isn't an MDE file...... I'm thinking that it's either a
references problem OR corruption.

Go to the following web page for information on checking references:
http://www.mvps.org/access/bugs/bugs0001.htm

As far as corruption, below are some good resources. I'm thinking that maybe
a decompile/recompile might help.

Tony Toews has an excellent web page on database corruption.

Allen Brown also has excellent info on corruption.

I have a white paper in a Word document named Fix Corrupt Access Database

Thanks for the info, tried everything recomemnded nothing worked.
Tried exporting one thing at atime to a new file, could not export any
of the forms. Ended up importing all the forms into new file from an
old back up and then playing catchup- almost finished
