Code to create graphs

While I am familar with access I am unable to create a chart using either the
chart wizard or simple visual basic, can you help.

I have a created a query summarizing test scores for 5 different scales
among several pateints. I would like to create a chart the displays the
average of each subscale. my query is a select query that creates a new
column for each scale as that is how they are stored in the table. Are my
effort failing because I donot use scale as a grouping variable?

Typically the wizard will try its best to mangle your actual graph data. You
might want to use the wizard and then change the Row Source afterward.
Depending on the Row Source, you may need to change the orientation of data
to either "By Column" or "By Row". These are buttons on the graph tool bar.
