Code to resize the row height based on the amount of text

Does anyone have a program that can run through a project and resize the
height of all rows based on the amount of text wrapped in the task name field?
I can't seem to find any option in MS Project that will auto-size the height
of a task row.

Hi,

There isn't an automatic way of doing this. You can use the SetRowHeight
method to change a row height, but no way to easily calculate whether a task
name is too long. Yes you can count number of character, but proportional
fonts make that imprecise.

Personally I prefer short task names and use Task notes for more detail. Un
Page Setup you can nominate to print all notes when you print your Gantt
Chart.

Rod,

Thanks. If only it were that easy to get my team leads to be more brief. :)

PS. Great book!

dbonline,

There is a software product that will resize the row height as you describe,
and it has a number of other features as well. It's called "Project Utility
Belt", published by Millennium Engineering and Integration Company. See
