Coding error?

Can anyone please tell me why the code in my index page appears in red when
it should be black, I have copied the code from an identical page which
shows black where it should, but it turned red in this page

You will need to look at the page for missing closing tags.

I finally overcame the problem by importing the Index.htm page from the
original site.
