I would like to set up a Project Office in our small company. We are running on a Novell network using GroupWise as our mail system and as our mail client. Will I be able to use things like the automatic task assignment etc. or does that REQUIRE Outlok and/or Exchange?

Groupwise will work. Any MAPI compliant email tool works
with Project Server messaging.
