Collapsible list not collapsing: help

Can someone please give me step by step directions on how to create a
Collapsible menu list with frontpage 2003.

I've spent several hours trying to make my multilevel collapsible list
collapse, but they are not collapsing. I am making a menu of "Faqs" on
the top of my page. What the collapsible list is suppose to do on Front
page is when you click the menu item, a paragraph of text opens directly
below it, and when you click it again, it is suppose to disappear, so it
is expanding and collapsing.
But its not working, can someone help, here are the directions I am using
in Front page 2003:

"Create a collapsible list
In Page view, at the bottom of the document window, click Design .
Create an outline or multi-level list.
To collapse low-level list items within a top-level list item, right-click
on the top-level list item, and then click List Properties on the shortcut
menu.
Select the Enable Collapsible Outlines check box.
To display the list in a collapsed state when a site visitor first opens
your Web page in a Web browser, select the Initially Collapsed check box.
Notes

To ensure that the list you created collapses, click Preview , and then
click the top-level list item.
If your list contains many list items on the same level, each list item—
including the additional levels below it— will be collapsible if you perform
the steps in the preceding procedure. In addition, all levels below the
original one will be collapsible.
Collapsible lists are supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later
and by other Web browsers that support Dynamic HTML. " thankyou all. su

I am not quite sure of what setup you are trying to acheive

Here is one reference to collapsible lists I found by Googling for
"javascript collapsible lïsts"
http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/tutorials/jsexamples/collapseList.html

Is this what you want ?

I get the feeling you want menu items spread horizontally across the top of
the page and then each one expanding when clicked on.
This is different from the example above which is of a vertical list.

Here is a useful site

Here is one example from this site whcih may be close to what you want
