collapsible list - the next step

I have added quite a list, made it collapsible and it collapses on load. What I want to do is to add a link that will expand everything in the list, then re-collapse the whole list. I believe that I need to use JS to do this, but not sure how to use the links so that it will work correctly. I would like 2 links on the page (Expand all and Collapse All)

I actually have 2 lists on the page in 2 columns and it is on an intranet site, so I can't post a URL.

I can kick out a quick page if you want to see and put the code in here if you need.
