Collapsible table example

Does anyone know how to create one of the cool Collapsible tables like the
"Quick Links" and the "Customer Feedback" areas on this web site?

To the right of this table there is an icon with two small up arrows and if
you click it the links below it close up. Is this a control that can be
purchased or is this simply Java scripting that is doing this?

Yes, those are controls and there are many developers selling that type of
control. You should understand that a control of that type *is* HTML and
JavaScript emitted by compiled code at run-time. In general, a component
does not have a user interface and a control always has a user interface.

these controls? I'm not sure what it's called and don't know what to
search for.

Hi,
you shouldn't need to buy anything for this - it's just a few lines of
javascript. Here's a quick example I've thrown together, just look at the
script.

You can mess around with the scripts others have referred to but you have
already identified the correct term being used just put them together as a
search term...

Google: "collapsible"+"asp.net"+"control"

BTW -- CodeProject [1] is an excellent resource, much better these days than
DynamicDrive which was cool in its day but has become somewhat dated and is
lightweight in comparison to CodeProject.
