I am using Office XP. When I attempt to print a multipage document and have
it colliated it won't colliate. I have run a rapair without success. The
printer is a HP LaserJet 9500. The process works on a similar printer in our
shop. Any ideas.

We ran into something similar. Check to see if Mopier is enabled on
the printer which is having problems. This is a problem with your
printer rather than with Word. If you check you will find that other
applications like Acrobat will also have the same issue.

Mopier is enabled on our printer (hp color laserjet 9500n), but it still
didn't fix the collating problem. Any other ideas?

PS. We have the latest driver.

Thanks

Sorry to resopnd so late. Your post got lost an my end.

This problem does not appear if we use Open Office Writer. If we open a
Word document in Open Office Writer it will colliate correctly whereas in
Word it won't colliate.

When i speak of colliating I am speaking of the paper coming out of the
printer as 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3, rather than 1-1-1, 2-2-2, 3-3-3. On one of
these printers we have an external colliator and on the other printer we
don't have an external colliator. This colliatte feature works correctly on
other HP printers with Word.

Thank you for your patience,
