Collecting One-to-many data with infopath

I've never used Infopath before, but am a database professional, and have
been asked to consider using Infopath as a method for collecting and updating
data in several of our enterprise databases.

One of the databases they would like to test this process on contains
several one-to-many relationships. The many side of these relationships
generally contains less than 7 options, but a particular record may relate to
between 1 and 3 of these options. Can someone suggest a method or a template
that I can review to see an example of this?

You will probably need to use code to make sure this is done properly.

It sounds like doing a submit would require a complex query. If you are
using a browser based form you can do this code in a web service to prevent
your form from being admin deployed.
