Color change for forms fields

I'm trying to create a db using ms accces. I would like to have unfilled
items in the forms to be highlighted in a ddifferent color than filled
spaces, so i can easily know and remember what is missing, any idea how can
this be achieved?
I sam still using access97 for the sake of compatibility with all the
computers in the office.
