color of equations

I searched for but have not found the answer to the following: Is it possible to change the color of equations to white? The equation is produced by Equation Editor. I need the equation in white since all my presentations use black background, whitish texts, and white equations.

Hi <>,

Unfortunately there's no provision in Equation Editor for color. With
MathType, Equation Editor's big brother, you can change your equation
color to white or any other color you want. If you want to focus
attention on part of an equation, you can color that part of it in
yellow, or any other contrasting color. More info and a free trial at
the link in my signature.

Thanks, Bob.

Here is my dilemma: (1) hardly any people I work with use MathType, so it's a big compatibility issue among collaborators; (2) a large number of presentation we produced were done in Windows and we changed the equations to white color when using black background (by going to format object->picture->recolor). None of these will display properly when I use the MS office on Mac. Major issue with migrating to Mac! The option of changing the equation color is missing in the equation editor that came with MS Office for Mac OS.

Any pointers to a possible solution would be greatly appreciated.

(1) hardly any people I work with use MathType, so it's a big
compatibility issue among collaborators;

We understand the problem, and we provide one solution you might want
to consider. The people who want to buy MathType -- please do so. The
people who don't want to -- that's all right. Download the trial
version of MathType from our website. It'll work for 30 days with all
features, including color, enabled. If you don't purchase it within 30
days, it's still usable indefinitely in "MathType Lite" mode. MathType
Lite loses many of the features available in the full version -- and
color is one of the features it loses, BUT people using MathType Lite
will still be able to see AND EDIT your equations that use color or
any other feature that's no longer available. They just can't create
new equations with those features.
(2) a large number of presentation we produced were done in
Windows and we changed the equations to white color when

Actually that's not an Equation Editor feature; that's a PowerPoint
feature. I have no idea why Microsoft didn't include this feature in
PowerPoint for Mac, but they didn't. "Recolor" is a Windows-only
feature.
