COlor of grid lines

J

Janie

Is there any way to change the color of the gridlines from grey? I have a
color blind worker who is requesting a different dolor. I cannot find
anything that allows me to change it.

Thanks

Janie,

I haven't tried this, but there seems to be a way, via the registry
settings.

You have to go to Tools > Options > Advanced tab, and check: "Put all
settins in Windows registry".

Then you can dig through regedit and change the color. This article
describes the process in more detail:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/298740/

The settings that will probably do it are:
ColorGridBackground=255 255 255
The background color used to draw grid lines.
ColorGridForeground=192 192 192
The foreground color used to draw grid lines.

You can figure out nice RGB colors via the Tools > Color Pallette... dialog.
Just click the Edit button, then go to the Custo tab, and you can play with
Red-Green-Blue values there.
