Color of Hyperlink (and Followed Hyperlink) Text While Utilizing

C

We don't often place any kind of links to websites in our PPT presentations
so when I built our Themes I opted to not choose a color for either Hyperlink
or Followed Hyperlink.

That was apparently a mistake.

Today, in preparing a Theme presentation, I attempted to place the text of
some useful websites on a slide and they disappeared. I was unable to assign
any color to them after they were copied and pasted onto the slide.

I went back to Theme Builder and set both colors to black, reapplied the
Theme and they now appear (in black) but I still can't apply a different
color to them at all. The bullet in front of the text changes color, but not
the text itself.

I know some prefer to have the hyperlink text to be a different color...but
we really don't want it to be that set off from the regular text. This isn't
an issue for some of our Themes (I can match it to the color of the body
text) but we have some Themes that have both light and dark backgrounds where
the body text varies based on the background.

It is getting to the point that we may have to split up our Themes so each
has a single master, which I really would prefer not to do!

Is this a "feature," a bug, or did I do something wrong when I set the Theme
up.

I REALLY wish there was some kind of documentation SOMEWHERE to help set up
these Themes. I feel like I've got it somewhat down and then WHAMMO...the
rug gets pulled out yet again.

(and I am still having issues w/ Themes that have multiple masters. At this
point I don't know where else I can go for help w/ them!)
