Colors dropped from Visio object when pasting to Word

Hi there

If I use custom colors to fill boxes in a Visio diagram,
the custom colors are removed when I paste the diagram
into Word. This does not occur if I chose standard
colors. It also doesn't occur if I create an object in
Word, fill it using a custom color, and paste it into
Powerpoint. Seems a Visio to Word, Visio to Powerpoint
problem.

Anyone know how to overcome?

Hi Tim,

I'm not able to reproduce this using Visio 2002 SR-1 and Office 2002 SP2.
To help investigate this, we need more information such as what versions of
each program you're using, what version of Windows, and what is your video
display resolution and color depth. thanks.
