Colour Code Resources In Calendar View

Is there any way to colour code the bars in calendar view so they show
different colours for different resources. For example all bars which relate
to Alan would be Blue, all which relate to Kerry Pink, then ones where we
both work on a task would appear black?
Seems simple but I can't work it out. I can only see a way in which you can
change all the bars to the same colour. I looked online for assistance with
this and I found something which involved conditional formatting and
enetering formula. Is there not a simpler way?

Kerry,
You can't do that in the Calendar view.
You can do that in the Gantt Chart view, but it implies conditional
formatting and entering formulas.(Custom Flag fields which will be
calculated before beeing used in the Format / Bar Styles dialog)
