Colouring Shapes in Visio based on a Date

Hi

I am very new to Visio VBA. I have programmed in VB and VBA before, but
never with Visio. I was wondering, if it is possible to colour shapes
through code, based on dates.

I have a flow diagram and when certain milestone dates are reached, I wish
to colour for example, some shapes from Red to Green, to show proposed
completion, is this possible through code, by using some sort of
manipulation of the current system date and evaluating the colour of a
milestone.

This can be done through the shapesheet. What is required is to set the
value of the colour of the shape to a formula that converts the date into a
number.

How do you plan to correlate the colour to a date?

I was planning to create a look up table and then connect to a database to
access these values?
