Column icon

Can someone tell me how to get the column icon on my toolbar? I've looked at
all the available toolbars and cannot find it. Is there any other way to
split text into columns without it? I'm running Office 2000

Tools / Customise.
Click on the Commands tab.
Click on the Format category.
Find the Columns icon in the Commands window on the right and drag it onto
your toolbar.

Alternatively, the columns dialog box should be on your Format menu.
