In most situations, you can only rely on a backup.
If there's any chance you've not changed anything else, haven't added any
new objects or data in your database, haven't compacted the database,
haven't defragmented your hard drive, and haven't ridden a bicycle since you
"deleted" the column, you may be able to send a copy of your .mdb file to a
specialist who may be able to recover it. (OK, so I was kidding about the
bicycle -- all the rest, though...)
Check PKSolutions as one of the often-mentioned data recovery companies.
