columns in word 2002

Hello.
I am creating a document in Word 2002 (using XP Home
Edition)
I have a full width Headline which i follow with a
continuous break.
Then the page is divided into 3 equal columns.
My problem is that I cannot get the 'copy' to go any
closer than approx 25mm to the end of the page before a
new page is added. I have reduced the bottom margin to
zero.
Can anyone help?

In Word, click on File | Page Setup | Layout | From edge: Footer: 0 mm |
OK. But most printers can't print all the way to the edges of a page,
so setting a margin of 0 mm will probably result in some text getting
cut off when you print.
