columns won't unhide

Help! I hid the A, B, and C columns on my worksheet. Now the columns won't
unhide. I've tried format/column/unhide; no luck. I tried changing the column
widths on all columns, no good. Any ideas?

Click the space between the D and 1 this will highlight the whole sheet
then format/column/unhide should work
