I have changed my columns 2 and set it to down then across on the page setup
area, but my report is not displaying 2 columns. What could I be doing
wrong? Thank you!

Most likely, your columns are too wide to fit two per page.
Make sure the detail and group header/footer sections have
no controls beyond the space for one column. Then go into
Page Setup and uncheck the Same as Detail box and set the
Column Witdth value manually.
