Hi -
Until this year, I used MS Project 2000 for one application - with a
global.mpt on a shared server. We created a COM Add-In to work with that
application. This year, we started using another application - which also
uses MS Project 2000. For the newer application, we use global.mpts that are
stored on our own PCs. We have separate shortcuts that start either
application with its correct global.mpt. Now, for some reason, the COM
Add-In only appears when I start MS Project using the local global.mpt. I
need that COM add-In to only work with when MS Project is started with the
shared server global.mpt.
I tried reinstalling the COM Add-In - and it appears the first time when I
open the MSP using the shared global.mpt. After that it only appears in the
local global.mpt MSP.
Any thoughts? Is there a way to force the add-in to only appear with the
shared application? I have tried looking in the registry to see if the
Add-In points anywhere - but it has given me no answers -
