".com" page different than ".com/default.htm" page

When you publish, FrontPage queries the server to check for the correct file name for the "default"
page used by the server and then changes the file name.
So, if your local copy is index.htm or default.htm and the server requires default.html it will
automatically be renamed.

See which is the correct one for your server and then rename your local copy to match it and let
FrontPage update hyperlinks when prompted. Then Publish. When done open the live site on the
server and delete the incorrect / no longer needed one.
