Combining two characters or symbols

Hi...

I would like to be able to combine two symbols, such as a circumflex (^) and
a rho (Ï), that is I'd like to put the circumflex over the rho. Is there
anyway to do this?

Hi Penny,

BTW: Beware of the difference between the circumflex ˆ and the caret ^.

With a large Unicode font like Lucida Sans Unicode or Arial Unicode MS, you
can also try the combining diacritic U+0302 -- ÏÌ‚ -- which will probably
show as an empty box here.

Regards,
Klaus
