Combo box error message

On a new form, with only one database open, when I try to create a combo box,
a message appears that says: You can only run one instance of the Combo Box
Wizard at a time. Does anyone know why this happens and what to do about it?

Sounds like a possible bit of corruption. First make a copy. Then try
compacting the database.
