This is one of the many bugs in SP3! The fields that don't show have
something in their format property. The ususal culprit is > which forces
UpperCase. Simply remove any formatting to these fields and everything should
be OK!
Other alternative is to uninstall Access then re-install thru SP2!

You're right - formatting was the problem. But I had to remove ALL formatting on the underlying table (to the control's query source) before the field once more showed up.

Thanks for the inside info; I had the exact same problem and ended up going
back to Acess and SP2. Do you know of any other bugs to Access 2003 after
the update or am I better off sticking with SP2?
I have had the same problem, i resolved it with removing any
expression in table Design view from Field Format Properties
section .
