I am working on an inventory db. I have a form with 4
subforms. Main form has employee info, with subforms
having data about each of the 4 pieces of equipment
(computer, monitor, printer, peripheral) assigned to
employee. I want to be able to reassign piece of
equipment to another employee using another form that is
launched from either main form or subform.
Problem: Form I created to transfer piece of equipment
won't let me change employee id because it is an
autonumber field for the tbl that contains the employee
info. I have a table which contains inventory data
(employee can be in it multiple times) and 4 related
tables that contain info specific to each of the 4 pieces
of equipment we are tracking.
Any suggestions? I know this should be easy to do, but it
escapes me at the moment.
Any help would be most appreciated.
