COMBO BOXES IN EXCEL

I Have a spreadsheet that was created in a PC version of Excel it has
combo boxes/drop down lists. When this file is opened in the Mac
version 2004 and X the boxes do not work. They are being converted to
images. Any suggestions on how to get them to work on a Mac would be
very helpful.

They are ActiveX controls, which will only work in Windows.

They can, in most cases, be replaced with controls from the Forms
toolbar that work on both platforms.
