Combo/list box list to display as pop-up affected by autoexpand

I would like to create a combo box that acts as a pop-up. When I start to
type data in the field, I would like for all of the entire list of options to
appear according to autoexpand properties. A list box requires too much
space, unless I'm not setting the properties correctly.
