Combobox Bound Column blank (after update?)

Is there a site - or sentence parsing- to find if the latest updates to
ACC2003 are again causing a "blank field" in cbo bound column?

i.e. [RowNumTxt].Column(1) is blank; while [RowNumTxt].Column(2) is visible.
Update events related to the BoundColumn do not execute, either.

This is one of the most commonly seen bugs running v2003 with the infamous
SP3 service pack installed! Here's a page by Allen Browne with most of the
bugs and a link to Micro$oft's site where there's a hotfix:

Wow! This is the third time I've had to download SP3 Hotfix after MS updates,
all several months apart.
Thanks to Linq Adams and to Allen Browne!
A helpful static post of some sort might jog/point out to neophytes like me
that:
1. Updates have not been corrected and can/will corrupt Office apps
repeatedly.
2. The SP3 Hotfix is an download/executable file i.e.it must be 'saved &
then clicked' to execute.
We Architects-by-Anarchy (if they won't hire programmers, we'll make
something work) don't get behind the screen enough to remember necessary
nuance.
