I am automating a Powerpoint presentation via .NET. About once a week, my
program suddenly stops working, and comes up with the error "Retrieving the
COM class factory for component with CLSID
{2206CDB2-19C1-11D1-89E0-00C04FD7A829} failed..." Several times, Microsoft
Outlook stopped working at the same time that this error occurred. I did
some Googling for the answer - and saw that it sometimes is caused by another
process running at the same time. In order to make sure this wasn't
happening, I checked for all running PowerPoint processes. I'm honestly not
sure what is causing this, and I don't want the error to pop up once this is
in production. Please let me know of any suggestions or comments you may
have regarding this. All help is appreciated!
