Command Button Wizard Won't Open. Why?

When I am in design view in a form, choose the raised button icon labeled
"Command Button" on the toolbox and then draw the actual button on my form, I
am told that a wizard is supposed to open that will direct me through the
process of creating a macro to be activated by pressing this button.

My problem is that the wizard won't start and there seems to be nothing in
the Knowledge Base about this. It seems like a pretty mundane problem.
Anyone encounter this?

I uninstalled Office XP and then reinstalled it, making certain that I have
installed ALL Access Wizards.

There is a wizard button on the Toolbox menu that needs to be "on" (magic
wand image; click to depress the button).

The first thing to check is whether you have the wizards turned off.
Near the top of the toolbox is a "magic wand" button that enables or
disables the control wizards. Is that button pushed in?
