comments in Visio are not displayed when I move cursor over

Hello~
Comments in Visio 2000 are not displaying when I move my cursor over the shape for some reason. ANy thoughts as to why? Also, will the comments print?

Check Tools > Options > View and make sure that screen tips are enabled.
Visio does not support printing of comments.
