HELP!

1. How does one delete the "comment" user name and
number (e.g., Comment:[BMC1, BMC2, etc.].

2. How does one prevent having the entire sentence (or
word preceding or following the insertion point)
highlighted when posting a comment?

Hi Cooper,

What version of Word are you using?

When Comments were introduced in Word 97 the word closest to the
cursor would be highlighted. They changed this behavior in Word 2000
and there were so many complaints they changed it back in Word 2003.

I don't know of a way to modify the behavior. Unfortunately this could
be one of those situations where you can't please everyone. :-(
