Commercial Printing in Publisher

Rick

I tried to print a brochure that was 10.4 MB, but it took forever to print.
Only when I made the jpeg smaller did it print, but the quality was poorer.
Earlier this week, I printed a brochure that was even bigger with no
problems. I did all troubleshooting on my printer, driver, etc. So it has to
be within Publisher. Any suggestions?

Did you reduce the resolution of the picture? Usually desktop printing looks
okay with 150 dpi. Try a different format, .png for example. If you have
gradients in your brochure it will slow down the printing in some printers.
Are your sure your driver is current?

Yes, I updated all drivers on my printer. Only after re-emailing the jpg to
myself in a smaller file did the brochure print, but like I said earlier, I
printed a brochure earlier in the week that was bigger and had no problems,
but will try your suggestions, Thanks!
