Compact and Repair

When I compact and repair in Access 2007, the file size remains the same. Do
I need to save and or replaces after compact and repair?

It does happen where after the compact and repair, the file size stays
the same. Happens to me a lot of times :) Can simply mean that
nothing further could be compacted. You do not need to save or replace
anything.

Take a look at the time stamp to make sure it was compacted. In some case,
Acc 2007 compact to a db1, db2 ... file without telling you.
