I have a database with a front end app on each client computer, and the
backend on a central server. I want to compact and repair the back end
database but when I attempt to, it tells me that it is openned by a user and
cannot compact. Will I need to run the compact from the server? This is an
issue because we do not have a copy of access 07 on the server.
