size was close to 2 gigs... no problems...
deleted a lot of stuff... 1.3 gig... no problems..
scanpst comes back with no errors...
but compact just hangs... tried leaving overnight...
initially the process uses cpu and io... after a while it just sits there,
no reads or writes (using task manager)... XP pro... nothing else wrong and I
have been using windows and office BOTH since version 1.0.
