I have several 2003 db's that are set up to compact on close. Sometimes, not
always I get db1.mdb, db2.mdb etc in my netwrok directory when the compact
happens. I assume these are the temporary files access creates while
compacting the database. My question is why does this happen, and is there a
way for me to prevent it. It doesn't appear to cause any problem, just
clutters up my directory and uses up space.
