My boss and I are tyring to execute the Compare Project Version, his MS
PM'07-Standard wouldn't give this option. I do have the MS
PM'07-Professional and I do have this option. Is there a way that we can
activate the Compare Projection in MS PM'07 Standard? Please advise. Thank
you.

Ask your boss to try the following:

1. Launch Project Standard 2007.
2. Click View - Toolbars - Customize.
3. In the Categories pick list, select the Tools item.
4. In the Commands list, drag and drop the COM Add-Ins item to the Tools
menu (I prefer to drop it right below the Macro menu item).
5. Click the Close button to close the dialog.

The above set of steps adds the COM Add-Ins menu item to the Tools menu.
Next, your boss should complete the following steps:

1. Click Tools - COM Add-Ins.
2. In the COM Add-Ins dialog, deselect the Compare Project Versions Utility
item and click the OK button.
3. Click Tools - COM Add-Ins again.
4. In the COM Add-Ins dialog, re-select the Compare Project Versions
Utility item and click the OK button.

After completing the above sets of steps, your boss should click View -
Toolbars. There should be a "Compare Project Versions" item on the Toolbars
flyout menu. If there is not, he/she may need to re-install Microsoft
Project. Let us know if this helps.
