Comparing data in a column

Hi-
Does anyone know the way to compare all the records/rows
in a worksheet to see if any have identical data in a
given column?
My goal is to see if I have any duplicate entries in a
database (it's too big to simply sort and visually check
it).

EHM, Chip Pearson has some formulas for testing for, highlighting, and
tagging duplicate entries in a range. Look here:
