Comparing Side By Side

Is it possible to use the comparing side by side facility on the vertical
rather than horizontal plane.
Thanks in anticipation.

Sure, just do Compare as you would normally, and then when the windows are tiled
in compare mode, use Window / Arrange / Vertical to put them that way.
