Huli Puli

Hello,

I am looking for information or a document that compares the difference
between Project 2007 Standard, Professional and Enterprise. I searched the
MS site but only found comparison between Project 2002, 2003 and 2007.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Huli

You use Project Standard 2007 to managing projects without using Project
Server 2007. It is simply a desktop application only. You use Project
Professional 2007 specifically with Project Server 2007. It is an
enterprise-enabled version of the desktop application. If you do not intend
to use Project Server 2007, then you should purchase the Standard version of
Microsoft Project 2007. Hope this helps.

Thank you Dale for your quick response, the information below is definitely
helpful.

In addition to the below information I am also looking for the difference in
the editions from a feature perspective. Any information with respect to
this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Huli

I already told you the difference in features. Project Professional 2007
includes features used exclusively with Project Server 2007, while the
Standard edition does not. Hope this helps.

I am setting up project schedules for multiple projects and need resource management abilities. Need to know if MS-Project STD is ok or do I need MS-Project PRO???
