Are there any know compatibility issues between MS project 2000 and 2003 (standard version)?

Almost none. In fact Project 2000 can open a Project 2003 file, edit and
save it and Project 2003 can then open it and still see Project 2003
specific data.

Hi Rod

what about the weird pre-2003 behaviour of lags when using task calendars?
(where lags are scheduled against project calendar not task calendar) - i
don't have 2000 on my machine any more to test whether a file set up in 2003
and used in 2000 reverts to the "old" lag behaviour or retains the new.

Cheers

Haven't tested that, but haven't heard of any problems. The worst Project
2003 standard problem has been that on some PC's you've been unable to out
some tasks. There is however a hotfix for that problem now if you encounter
it.
