I've created a presentation in PowerPoint2007 which includes custom
animations. I've saved this in 97-2003 format and was not warned about any
compatiblity issues; however, although the animations run fine in 2003
versions of ppt, they run through "automatically" rather than "on mouse
click" in 2000 versions. There is also a problem with text boxes - where
text within a single text box is supposed to appear in two stages it all
appears together in 2000 versions.
I've also noticed a slight problem where coloured shapes I've used to hide
text before "revealing" it by making the shape "disappear" on mouse click
move position slightly between different versions of PowerPoint.
The presentation I've created is supposed to be used by a large number of
different groups using different PCs/versions of Office so I need
compatibility to be very reliable. Any ideas?
