Compatibility Pack for 2007 Office system

We are currently running 2003 office system and reqire the Compatibility Pack
to open the 2007 documents. Does this pack need to be installed on all
individual systems or on the server? Thanks for your help!

On individual workstations AFAIK....

The Compatibility Pack needs to be installed on each client that wants to
view files in the native Office Open XML format. I believe you can push it
out from a server. I do not remember if a restart is needed, sorry.
