Compatibility patch Microsoft Office 2007(Beta) to Office XP Pro

I was had installed Microsoft Office 2007 (Beta 2) & the Technical refresh
and file compatibility pack for MO207 (Beta). Every thing was working until I
installed Google Desktop and since then problem after problem. I could not
open word files or excel (norton anti virus is mentioned as the problem) and
office outlook inbox was not functioning as it should. I have now uninstalled
MO2007 (Beta) after phoning Micosoft with another problem that I had pirated
software - they checked the information I gave them and I am actually
legitimate. I was informed by the Microsoft person (Alecha?) that files
created by MO2007 (Beta) are compatible with previously installed earlier
versions of XP (with the use of a 2007 conversion patch), which allows files
to be opened by either version. I CANT FIND THE PATCH and files created under
MO2007 wont open and mail received in Office Outlook 2007 have no text for
the body of the message - heading only. Can anybody help resolve above as it
has turned into a right nightmare!!!!
